Black & White
All black & white film is processed using the traditional handline dip and dunk method. We
process all formats of film (35mm, 120, 4x5 & 8x10) with no additional costs for pushing of
pulling your film.
Colour / C-41
All colour film is processed using a professional dip and dunk, C-41 processor. Chan
processes all formats of film. (35mm, 120, 4x5, & 8x10) with no additional costs for pushing or
pulling your film. Dip and dunk is the safest method for handling your film
Scanners
Noritsu and Fuji Fronteir – 35mm / 120
Both of these industry standard scanners are high volume film scanners. They are used for roll
scanning and individual images. Image files range from as small as 4mb per frame to 40mb
and can be exported in both JPEG and/or TIFF.
Imacom Hassleblad – 35mm up to 5x4
This scanner is perfect for mastering single frames. With option on file sizes and 3F raw
scanning.
Analogue Hand printing
We offer traditional darkroom handprinting. Sizes start from 8x10 and go up to 30x40, both in
colour and B&W.
Darkrooms
Chan photographic has 5 darkrooms available for hire, each fitted with 2 enlargers. One for
fogging / pre-flashing. The space has an RA4 colour paper processor that can print up to 30”
wide by the paper height. There is also a black & white processor that is available.
